8:30am – Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

Leaving a beautiful 9-day safari in Africa behind, I landed in France on a crisp early morning just in time for Paris Fashion Week AW 20/21.

With no time to waste, it was straight from the airport to check-in at the hotel.

10am – Buddha-Bar Hotel

To take the day by storm in an organized fashion, I quickly rang room service for a matcha latte and some oatmeal. Unpacking ensued shortly thereafter to get all of the looks for the day steamed and ready on the clothing rack. With a shower, hair & makeup out of the way, I was ready to get the day started.

My buzzing thoughts were interrupted by the ring of a doorbell. It was my videographer, who arrived perfectly on time for a day filled with shooting on the streets, as well as inside the venues of PFW.

11am – Streets of Paris

Our team took to the Parisian streets for the first shoot of the day. After trying to make do with the clouds and rain, we only had a few minutes to spare before we were going to be late. The driver swiftly arrived at the perfect moment and we were on our way to Balmain.

11:30am – Balmain

With the first event checked off of the calendar and one quick change in the car later, it was on to the next fashion show.

1:30pm – Christian Wijnants

To make the best use of time, the team scoped out the streets nearest to the venue and shot along the way.

2:15 – Isabel Marant x Video Shoot

Changing in the car sounds a lot more effortless than it seems, and I was yet again throwing garments over my head while en route.

2:30pm – Alexander Mcqueen

There was definitely no time to stop for a leisurely brunch. I subdued my lingering hunger with roasted cashews and an RX bar from my purse. A sip of iced green tea also gave me that much-needed boost of energy after a long plane ride and (not to mention) jetlag.

3:30 – Issey Miyake

Scoping out the prettiest backdrops of picturesque old Parisian buildings, we also shot by the iconic Eiffel Tower.

5pm – Andrew Gn

For an on-the-go beauty touch-up, I simply re-applied NARS liquid blush in Orgasm to highlight my cheeks and a spritz of Caudalie Beauty Elixir for replenishing moisture.

6pm – Alessandra Rich – Ready To Wear

Only one more show to go – I switched up my hairstyle using a mini brush tucked away in my handbag.

7pm – Yohji Yamamoto

After the final round of applause, it was time to head straight back to the hotel and get some much-needed beauty rest before another day of shows ahead.
